Nanaimo Unique Kids Organization (NUKO) A registered non-profit organization in Nanaimo formed by a group of parents of children with neuro-developmental disabilities like ASD, autism spectrum, OCD, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, TS, Tourettes Syndrome and Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder.
Nanaimo Downtown Farmers Market One of the youngest markets on the island, being only in it's tenth year. From a beginning of only a few vendors, we have grown to become a market of over fifty full time vendors, and many drop ins, giving us an ever changing facade.
Nanaimo Canoe & Kayak Club (NCKC) The Nanaimo Canoe and Kayak Club is a member club of Canoe Kayak Canada (CKC), Canoe Kayak BC (CKBC) and the Canadian Outrigger Racing Association (CORA). As a member club of these organizations, we receive communication and administrative support through their central offices, as well as third party liability insurance coverage for sanctioned activities and events. Our memberships also enable individual members to compete in local, national and international events.
Greater Nanaimo Chamber of Commerce As the voice of business, the Greater Nanaimo Chamber of Commerce has been serving the needs of the business community in the Nanaimo area since 1889. We are a non-profit, non-government organization with over 875 members comprised of businesses, professionals and associations who have joined together for the purpose of promoting the civic, commercial and industrial interests of our community.
